Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Visto ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Visto. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the App.

Use of the App

Visto is a personal watchlist application that allows you to save movies and TV shows, track what you have watched, and view streaming availability information. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its underlying systems
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

User Data

Visto does not require an account. All data you create within the App — including your watchlists and ratings — is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for managing and maintaining your own data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, operating system updates, or uninstallation of the App.

The App may support user accounts in future versions. Any such feature will be governed by updated Terms at that time.

Intellectual Property

All content within Visto — including but not limited to the app design, interface, code, branding, and the "Visto" name — is the sole property of the app's developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without explicit written permission.

Movie and TV show data, images, and metadata displayed within the App are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and are subject to their respective terms and ownership. Streaming availability information is sourced from JustWatch via the TMDB API. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content.

Third-Party Services

Visto uses the TMDB API to retrieve movie and TV show information, and attributes streaming provider data to JustWatch. These services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies, which are independent of Visto. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Movie and TV show data — including titles, descriptions, images, and streaming availability — is sourced from third-party providers (TMDB and JustWatch). We do not own or control this data and make no representations as to its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Streaming availability in particular may vary by region and may change without notice. You should verify streaming availability directly with the relevant service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate content from third-party data providers, or service interruptions.

Modifications and Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App — in whole or in part — at any time and without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.
