This Privacy Policy explains how Visto ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our iOS application. Visto is designed with privacy in mind — no account is required, and your data stays on your device.

Information We Collect

Visto does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you create within the app — including your watchlists, ratings, and watch history — is stored locally on your device only.

We do not collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers

Third-Party Services

Visto uses the following third-party services to provide movie and TV show information:

• TMDB (The Movie Database): Used to fetch movie and TV show metadata, images, and details. Requests are made directly from your device to the TMDB API. Please review TMDB's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle API requests.
• JustWatch: Streaming availability and watch provider information is sourced from JustWatch via the TMDB API. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

These requests may include the titles you search for. No personally identifiable information is sent to these services.

Data Storage

All app data — including your watchlists, watched status, and saved shows — is stored locally on your iOS device using on-device storage. This data is not backed up to or accessible from any external server operated by Visto.

Your data may be included in your personal iCloud or iTunes device backups if you have those features enabled on your device. This is controlled by your iOS settings and is not managed by Visto.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all app data at any time directly within the app. Uninstalling Visto from your device will also remove all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Visto is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this app.

Advertising

Visto does not display advertisements and does not use any advertising or tracking SDKs.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
